Hi-Fi ADVICE and Journalism

Janine has written reviews and pieces for magazines covering many subjects, but specialising in audio, video, food, tropical fish and cars!  Regular contributions to magazines and websites has included internal BBC magazines, and notably HiFi News and HiFiPig.com. Janine specialises in advice on studio and consumer audio and visual products. Her column "Hifi Confidential" in HiFi News was well read and respected, and since joining HiFi Pig she has concentrated on the higher-end hi-fi components, specialising in turntables, cartridges, loudspeakers, headphones, phono-stages and headphone amplifiers. She also produces a monthly historical page which she has called "RetroBites". See separate website at Soundout.

MUSIC TUITION Having performed with many internationally known musicians and having studied for 52 years Janine can offer advice and tuition on 25 instruments. All her students entered for ABRSM exams have passed with good marks (Merit and Distinction) over the years. Subjects include; piano, keyboard, organ, violin, viola, cello, oboe, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, theory, aural, composition, musicianship, ukulele, mandolin, bouzouki, recorder, saxophone, etc.
